Thank You!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our group lunch. It was lovely to see so many new faces. I thought the food and venue were fantastic, with excellent parking too. Shame about the weather, but that was out of my hands!

First and foremost, a big thank you to Penny and Sarah for organising the quiz, Mandy for running the raffle, and Cliff for his support. I also want to take this opportunity to express my thanks to Andrea, Phoebe, Lucy, and Stephanie, who couldn’t be with us today as they recover from knee replacement surgery. Their help on show days is invaluable, we truly couldn’t do it without them and all of our sponsors. 

We had a tough decision with our group awards, but we had to choose a winner! This year’s junior award went to George Hodson his dedication and hard work has not gone unnoticed. Well, done, George! Keep an eye on little Alfie George next year; he’s one to watch.

The senior category was just as close, with Anna Merritt narrowly piping Willow Holland at the post congratulations, girls! Keep up the great work.

Exciting news for the group we will be joining the Society’s Bronze Medal Scheme this year, so make sure you have your society memberships in your pockets. It would be a shame to miss out on such a lovely award.

Looking ahead, we’ll be holding two shows again this year. The first will take place on 6th April at Priory Equestrian, and I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve been invited to join the Newbury Show on their show day at the Newbury Showground. This is an incredible opportunity for our group, and we can't wait to be part of it!
